Hi everyone! Iām a Distributed Performance Engineer combining network analysis with full stack application performance analysis. After earning my M.S. in Computer Engineering, I began my career working for the U.S. Marine Corp on data center network design and SATCOM-based WAN performance optimization. I currently work for a financial institution maintaining a network aggregation and monitoring infrastructure and using it to troubleshoot difficult problems.
My areas of expertise include Active Queue Management, Wireless Sensor Network MAC protocols, and troubleshooting, and I am currently stealing the best ideas from every field possible to improve my work. This site is intended to be a repository for the tips, tricks, and techniques I learn along the way.
Outside of the office, I relish active hobbies requiring intense focus and continuous improvement, including rock climbing, trail running, and some occasional woodworking. I am a member of the Outdoorist Oath, which steals ideas from nature to better enjoy and protect nature.
